After participating in the organizing committee for Malaysians' Orientation 2009, the original plan was to continue with my studies and the upcoming weekend seems like the prefect time to do it. Sadly, it didn't not turn up like how it was suppose to be...
Firstly, Saturday was my housemate Quah's birthday and we threw him a birthday BBQ!!!
Then, on the Sunday which i'm suppose to be free... Me and my F30 friends decided to have a spontaneous trip to Berastagi! (Berastagi is a place like 'Cameron Highland in Indonesia' lar....)
So, at 7am i walk to my friends house and waited until 8am before we depart. Due to the event 'Ganesha Chatruki', we prayed at a nearby worshiping spot before leaving Medan. The journey to Berastagi took us 1 and a half hour and we stop by Hillpark for around an hour to play some lame games (lol*). The first place we went when we reach the town is of course the Berastagi Market!
Oh!! btw, we rented 2 cars: a Toyota Innova Kijang 2.5 and a Toyota Avanza!

Some pictures from the market:
Actually my friends from F30 wanted to buy a puppy, but dunno why....Tak jadi...Just look at them, so adorable! Who wouldn't want to have them? ( *ahem* besides the Pak who is trying to sell them...)
Next stop, S.Piso-piso waterfall. It is a very popular tourist spot for its natural beauty and it is located at the North end of Danau Toba (the real Danau Toba tourist spot is around 2 hours drive from S.Piso-piso, that's how big the Toba lake is....) The weather at Berastagi starts to become very cold already since it's almost evening...
After some climbing and walking we reached the bottom of the waterfall. Since its a very 'big' and 'tall' waterfall (whatever words to describe it..) there is just no way to go under it. We stand around 100meters (No, maybe 200meters) from the waterfall and tried to admire the view....and we were soaked from head to toe in seconds.....!Nevertheless, maybe due to the cold weather and water droplets from the waterfall, there are some pretty beautiful flora bloomed down there.
Its 'raining' down there!

The day ended when we reached Medan around 10pm and have our dinner @ Ayam Bakar Penyet...fuh....very tired, have class at 7am on the next day somemore....p/s: Prof. Dr. Esani Karrupiah, SpOG, Drive carefully please....dunno why you rushing home...bukan macam u ada dating pun..
